Online Health Insurance Quotes for Individuals and Groups
Our cutting-edge technology and online tools make it easy to review the various features of each health insurance plan without the need for a trip across town to see an agent.
Below is a brief description of the health insurance plans we offer at Crosspointe:
Individual health insurance plans:
Whether you are self-employed, in between jobs, waiting for a group health insurance plan to start, or simply a savvy consumer, it is important to maintain some form of individual health coverage. While it is possible to purchase individual policies online, we don't recommend buying one of these plans without a thorough understanding of what is covered. Of all the health insurance plans on the market, individual health insurance plans can be the most confusing, so we've made them our primary focus at Crosspointe.
Individual health insurance plans may include Traditional "Copay" Style Plans, High-Deductible Health Plans (HDHPs) with a Health Savings Account (HSA), a Short-Term Health Plan, a PPO or an HMO. You may also elect to purchase supplemental insurance to cover dental and vision care expenses. At Crosspointe, we will help you understand how each of these plans works, and we will recommend the best option for your individual needs.
Short-Term Health Insurance Plans:
A Short-Term Health Insurance Plan is often the most affordable option to keep you covered after a job loss, or when you're waiting for a group plan to become effective. Much cheaper than COBRA, a short-term plan can often become effective on the same day it is purchased and it can remain active for up to 365 days.
State Guaranteed Issue Health Plans:
State Guaranteed Issue Health Plans are designed for people who wouldn't otherwise qualify for an individual health insurance plan because of a pre-existing condition such as diabetes or cancer. With a guaranteed issue policy, members often qualify for comprehensive coverage, but availability may vary depending on the state where you live. Some guaranteed issue health insurance plans require up to a one-year waiting period before coverage for a pre-existing condition can begin.
Group (Employer-Sponsored) Health Insurance Plans:
Small Group and Large Group Health Plans may seem easier to buy than an individual plan, because most insurers offer customized prepackaged health plans for employers. If you need a group health insurance plan, it is important that you thoroughly understand the plan before you buy. We will do more than just sell you a group health plan; we will look at the unique health profiles of your employee group and present you with the most affordable options from top insurance companies.
At Crosspointe, our agents are trained and ready to help you get insured with the type of health coverage that works best for you. They will help you understand the unique characteristics of each plan, and even help you customize your premiums and coverage to suit your circumstances. With Crosspointe, we know you don't want to pay for benefits you will never use. That's why we will never limit you to a one-size-fits-all health plan.
Crosspointe takes tremendous pride in educating our clients about health insurance. Over 60 percent of our clients live in Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri and Ohio.
